Reginald took over Earl Avery's Blacksmith Shop in 1917, in Kincardine Twp. Con. 6, Lot 15 N. part. The Daveys bought farmland on Con. 6, Lot 15 in 1935. They kept bees during the "dirty thirties" and sent honey to the west.
