General Notes:
Donald and Charles MacKinnon were twin brothers, and came from Cape Breton to Huron Twp., to Starvation, near Goderich with their parents. The family then moved to Tiverton, Ontario.
Donald was known as "Travelling Dan" or "Huron Dan" Mackinnon.
In 1896, the family purchased Conc. 11, lot 25 in Kincardine Twp. They sold the farm in 1917 and moved back to Huron Twp.
